The Manor at Coffee Creek

We were so delighted when we received an invite to be a vendor at The Manor at Coffee Creek’s open house. Always a big fan of visiting new venues, I loved the opportunity to go behind the scenes and be there before everything was set up and ready. It’s a thrill to see the bones of a structure, the raw beauty before the décor was set up, and The Manor at Coffee Creek didn’t disappoint!  Originally built in 1938, and surrounded by 100 rolling green acres, I was excited to arrive early for my set up and see how this elegant old estate hummed.

Everywhere you turn there is picture perfect landscaping, beautiful Oklahoma skies and just this feeling that you needed to take a deep breath and just let it all in.

We were one of the lucky few who were set up in their gorgeous new reception hall, bright and cheery it had beautiful touches (I love me some details!) everywhere!

Being a Boutique Rental Shop, it can be hard to showcase all the different types of inventory that we offer. Everything from elegant to shabby chic, traditional, rustic and vintage; we rolled in some of our whiskey barrels and set up what we felt was great representation albeit a small sample of what we have to offer. Showcasing our most popular whiskey barrels and lanterns, we added small touches of various collections and used a slide show to highlight some of our styling services as well as additional pieces of inventory too large to bring onsite!

Not only did we get to set up and promote our business in this beautiful setting, but I got to network with some of the best & most fun folks in the wedding business!

Logan Pennington with 405 Productions had me laughing before the doors opened and definitely started the evening off right setting the mood and exciting atmosphere with great music, incredible lighting, some seriously quirky and fun props from their photo booth!

Viva La Pies of Edmond ( tantalized our taste buds with some of their amazing handmade pies that were delicious. (I can attest to the deliciousness of their Key Lime Pie, I may or may not have made several trips to “visit” them). It was great to see them again, we previously worked with them on our #adayofwhimsy styled shoot, displaying their treats in both a rustic and glamourous setting showing how versatile pie really is! (Can we put a link to that part of the Gallery on the website?)

Right next to us was Ihrig, Ideas on Ice and Oklahoma City Perfect Wedding Guide, (their next show is September 13 for more details go to Always a fun group, I couldn’t stop humming Ice Ice Baby or actually touching the ice sculpture because it was beautiful but surreal in real life!

It was a festive night and you know it’s always a great event when while working, you feel as though you’d just been to a party!  We had a wonderful time meeting prospective clients, meeting some incredible vendors and celebrating an open house at this stunning venue. If you’re looking for a charming colonial estate venue with rolling hills, lush meadows, a gorgeous new reception hall that offers indoor and outdoor facilities, check out The Manor at Coffee Creek, you won’t be disappointed.
